DERMAPLANING
Dermaplaning is a gentle, non-invasive exfoliation treatment that removes the outer layer of dead skin cells and fine vellus hair ("peach fuzz") using a specialized surgical blade. This process instantly reveals smoother, brighter skin while enhancing the absorption of skincare products and creating a flawless canvas for makeup application.
Suitable for most skin types, dermaplaning can improve skin texture, dullness, mild pigmentation concerns, fine lines, and the appearance of acne scarring. Results are immediate, with no downtime, making it an excellent treatment before special events or anytime you want your skin to look its best.
Most clients notice softer, more radiant skin after just one treatment. For ongoing improvement and maintenance, treatments are typically recommended every 4 weeks.

Dermaplaning Pre & Post Care
To ensure your safety and achieve the best possible results, please review the following information before your appointment.
Before Your Appointment
Please let us know if any of the following apply to you, as dermaplaning may need to be postponed or may not be appropriate:
Active acne with inflamed breakouts
Active cold sore, skin infection, rash, open wound, or sunburn
Recent facial surgery
Accutane (Isotretinoin) use within the past 6 months
Pregnancy or other medical conditions that may affect healing
To prepare for your treatment, please:
Avoid waxing, threading, or depilatory creams on the treatment area for 7 days before your appointment.
Avoid retinol, Retin-A®, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and other exfoliating products for 3 days before treatment.
Avoid facial scrubs or other exfoliating treatments for 3–5 days before your appointment.
Your esthetician will evaluate your skin before treatment and may recommend postponing dermaplaning if it is not appropriate that day.
After Your Treatment
For the first 24–48 hours, we recommend that you:
Avoid retinol and exfoliating skincare products.
Avoid waxing or other facial hair removal.
Avoid excessive heat, saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and strenuous exercise.
Limit direct sun exposure and wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) every day.
Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer until your skin feels back to normal.
Mild redness or sensitivity is normal and usually resolves within 24 hours.
What to Expect
Dermaplaning immediately leaves your skin feeling smoother and looking brighter by removing surface dead skin cells and fine vellus hair ("peach fuzz"). Results typically last 3 to 4 weeks.
Despite the common myth, dermaplaning does not cause facial hair to grow back thicker, darker, or faster.
