What Is Facial Infusion?
Facial Infusion is a professional rejuvenating treatment developed by Osmosis Beauty. The formula features a potent, liposome-delivered form of vitamin A designed to support the appearance of smoother, firmer, clearer, and more even-looking skin.
Liposomes are microscopic delivery vehicles that help carry ingredients into the skin more effectively. During the treatment, we apply the infusion using a specialized nano tip attached to our professional microneedling pen.
The nano tip moves across the surface of the skin, helping the formula absorb more efficiently while creating a gentle stimulating effect.
Despite being performed with the same professional pen we use for other services, this is not traditional microneedling.
Facial Infusion vs. Traditional Microneedling
Traditional microneedling uses needles to create controlled microchannels in the skin. This intentional injury response stimulates the skin’s natural repair processes and requires specific preparation, aftercare, and recovery time.
Facial Infusion works differently.
The nano tip does not penetrate the skin at the depths used during traditional microneedling. It is used primarily to improve product distribution and absorption without intentionally wounding the skin.

Facial Infusion adds approximately 15 minutes to your appointment. Most clients can return to their usual activities afterward without the recovery associated with deeper microneedling or stronger chemical treatments.
Your skin may look fresh, hydrated, and more radiant immediately following the facial. As with any professional skincare treatment, results vary according to your skin, home-care routine, and treatment consistency.
Is Facial Infusion a Chemical Peel?
No. Facial Infusion does not use acids to remove layers from the surface of the skin, and it is not designed to create visible peeling.
This can make it an appealing option for clients who want to incorporate professional vitamin A into a facial but do not want the flaking or downtime that can accompany some chemical peels.
It is important to remember that “gentler” does not mean appropriate for everyone. Vitamin A is still an active ingredient, and your esthetician should know about any retinol, prescription retinoids, exfoliating acids, or other active products you currently use.
